We have been engaged in a search for a Senior Tax Leader to lead North America for a large, globally integrated organization. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to executive leadership and meaningful influence on enterprise-wide strategy.
The mandate is broad: own the tax function across the region, optimize the companys tax position, and serve as a key advisor on major business decisions.
What Youll Own
Set and drive regional tax strategy with a focus on reducing effective rate and improving cash flow
Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on transactions, expansion, and structural decisions
Oversee compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, including provision and disclosures
Lead tax risk management efforts, including controls and transfer pricing oversight
Manage audits and interface directly with tax authorities
Modernize the tax functionprocess, technology, and scalability
Build and lead a strong internal team while leveraging external advisors where appropriate
What Theyre Looking For
15+ years of progressive tax leadership in a complex, multinational environment
Experience operating at scale (ideally within a global corporate setting and/or top-tier public accounting
Strong mix of technical depth and business acumen
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex issues
