Job Description

Overview:

The Sr Director, Total Rewards will be responsible for providing leadership for benefits, compensation, HRIS, performance management, and vendor management functions. The Sr Director provides direction and guidance to the HR function to develop programs and guidance to support organizational issues. This role partners with HR Compliance to ensure compliance-related activities are addressed in a timely manner, while meeting all federal, state, and local statutes. Manages HR policies and procedures that reflect an employee-centric and result-oriented environment. 

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall Bancroft business strategy
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership on appropriate HR policies and procedures
  • (If applicable) - reports out to the Benefits Administration Committee or Finance Committee of the board for updates
  • Oversee enterprise compensation programs to ensure fair, equitable, and competitive practices
  • Oversee and administer Health & Welfare programs for the enterprise, ensuring non-discriminatory practices, while providing employee value
  • Oversee leave administration and RTW program
  • Negotiate contracts with various insurance carriers to obtain cost-effective coverage for the enterprise
  • Ensure best practices are consistently upheld throughout the Total Rewards process and enterprise
  • Oversee HRIS and data integrity practices for the HR department
  • Provides recommendations in conjunction with IT for the improvement of IT systems and support impacting HR
  • Oversees and administers the employee recognition program and platform
  • Provides professional input for enterprise ad-hoc assignments
Qualifications:

 

Required education:

  • BS, Human Resources or Business Management

Preferred education: 

  • MBA, Certified Compensation or Certified Benefits professional and/or SHRM certification

Experience:

  • 10+ years of leadership in a managerial role.
  • At least 5 years of Total Rewards experience, specifically with self-insured plans.

Special Skills:

  • Experience with contract negotiation
  • Significant claims management experience
  • LOA experience and administration
  • expertise in Self-Funded and Reference Based Pricing Benefit Management. 

 

Salary Range : $145K-$185K
