Job Summary: Has overall responsibility for a single manufacturing facility | Directs all aspects of production activity at the assigned plant to ensure that the desired quantities and quality of products are manufactured on schedule in a safe manner at minimum cost | May be responsible for Accounting, Human Resources and other staff functions Impact of the Role:

• Is accountable for the performance and results of a division or region
• Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy
• Decisions are guided by functional or major operational segment strategy and priorities
• Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

Essential Functions:

• Directs manufacturing operations and management teams for plants and locations of the organization that support business goals.
• Incorporates the organizational strategy and plans for operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs in manufacturing processes.
• Monitors production metrics and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency.
• Drives workforce planning activities and approves/ allocates resources based on business priorities.
• Implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes.
• Leads and directs the work of other managers and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers
• • Required Qualifications:
    • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 10-12 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
    • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
    • Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred
    • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Leadership skills. Capacity planning. Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). Manufacturing operations management. Process optimization. Resource planning.     Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
    • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
    • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
