Description
- Act as the primary advisor to leadership on environmental, health, and safety matters, ensuring best practices and compliance
- Lead and execute comprehensive EHS audits, identifying risks and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop, implement, and deliver robust safety procedures and training programmes across the site
- Ensure full compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and legislation
- Oversee safety equipment programmes, ensuring proper inventory management and availability for all employees
- Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and training databases
- Manage responses to workplace incidents, health and safety concerns, and interactions with regulatory bodies
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with significant experience in EHS leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing teams and driving safety culture improvements
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA standards
- Hands-on experience with audits, compliance programmes, and hazard identification
- Background in manufacturing safety, with hazardous waste experience preferred
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across operational teams
