You will be responsible for reviewing project information, executing daily field activities, maintaining project documentation, assisting the Project Manager, and providing guidance to junior engineers.QualificationsBSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or 4+ years of Mission Critical / Data Center experiencePE, EIT, CBCP Preferred (Not required)5+ years of experience commissioning electrical systems for data center projects, or relevant industry experienceSkillsExperience in mission critical facility commissioningOrganized, detail‑oriented, analytical, proactive, problem solverGood communication and relationship skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with limited supervisionKnowledge & experience with ASHRAE commissioning guidelines preferredDistributed control system experience a plusReasonable understanding of Building Management SystemsDeep understanding and application of test instrumentationTeam player and a "client‑first" mentalityDutiesCommission electrical distribution equipment and related controls in data center environments, including HV and MV primary distributionReview system designs for compliance with client facility goalsPrepare plans and procedures for the commissioning processConduct commissioning activities from the design phase into the occupation phase, in accordance with client requirementsAttend factory testing of equipment and document procedures and resultsConduct physical testing of electrical equipment and measure results using test instrumentationFully document all field procedures, including results, issues, and observations using online applicationsReport on electrical system performance and make technical recommendations on issuesWork with project teams to coordinate and execute field activitiesReview and comment on project documentation, plans, and schedulesSubmit and maintain daily commissioning reports as requiredAssist in the training of junior engineersRespond to customer inquiries in a manner that exceeds the customer's expectationsEnsure compliance with company, client, and project safety requirementsKnowledgeable in common mechanical and controls‑related building equipment such as engine generators, UPS & battery systems, medium and low‑voltage electrical switchgear, PLC controls, automatic transfer switches, static transfer switches, power distribution units, busways, and grounding systemsBenefitsCompetitive salary – 10% annual bonus opportunityOvertime payFlexible paid time offFull healthcare coverage401(k) with matching contribution#J-18808-Ljbffr
