Constellation Search Group is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for a full-time position. The candidate will join the industrial printing solutions engineering team to design and implement next-generation industrial printing solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design embedded systems using the latest SOC application processor and FPGA.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical design, development, testing, and deployment of the industrial printing system from conceptual design to full production.
  • Develop product technical and design specifications.
  • Oversee the design and development of the electrical system of the print controller and printhead.
  • Conduct detailed circuit analysis, develop schematics, BOMs, and electrical layouts and support design release into production.
  • Create and maintain electrical design documentation such as schematic diagrams, layout documentation, and related engineering records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues associated with corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Design and lead prototype development, lab, and field tests.
  • Identify applicable standards and provide analysis of the design to these standards.
  • Collaborate with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, and Test Engineers, and Project Management to ensure a successful product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing on product and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering degree.
  • 8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Expertise with embedded systems, FPGA, power electronics, and system-level designs.
  • Experience with system level electrical engineering, embedded hardware design, and electrical layout documentation. 
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and adapt quickly to time-sensitive needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
