Job OverviewAs an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you'll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients' successful data center facilities engineering, design and construction. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission‑critical facilities. This position is location flexible in the U.S.ResponsibilitiesYou'll provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process. You may also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and the other members of your electrical design team will work closely with the broader multi‑discipline team in a fast‑paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents. Your responsibilities will include engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities. Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients' continually evolving requirements. Additional responsibilities may include the management of quality, scope, budget and schedule.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus‑style power distribution including conveyanceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExtensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility designWorking knowledge of Revit or BIM softwareSolid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)Effective verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsAt least 3 years of data centre facility design experienceAnalytical and problem‑solving skillsForward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideasDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teamsPassionate about buildings and constructionExperience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sitesBenefitsOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
