Sr. Electrical Engineer

Constellation Search Group is looking for an Electrical Engineer for a full-time direct hire position. The Electrical Engineer will engage in designing and developing power supplies, introducing innovations for advanced power solutions, and enhancing customer experience. This role includes responsibilities for various engineering tasks, such as designing, testing, and analyzing systems and components within a focused team environment. Additionally, the engineer will summarize results and present proposals to management.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop circuits and power supplies according to customer and regulatory specifications, including schematic capture and board layout.
• Interface with internal departments to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.
• Develop analytical models and simulation tools to minimize changes in design iterations.
• Participate actively in the core team to achieve schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Assist in developing, testing, and debugging prototype power supply units.
• Analyze test data and reports to ensure design meets functional and performance specifications.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow standard practices and analyze situations to derive answers.
• Proficient in presenting information and responding to questions from managers and peers.
• Capable of using engineering concepts, including analytical methods and computer-aided analysis and design tools.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Interpretation of various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Proficiency with Windows-based platforms and computer-based design/analysis tools.
• Knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting schedule requirements and defining priorities without direct supervision.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electronics design or similar field.
• Experience with Mathcad, Cadence or Altium, Spice based circuit simulation, and scripting/test generation software.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar required.
