As they continue to grow their St. Petersburg office, they are looking to add a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) with proven experience designing electrical systems for large-scale vertical construction projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-performance, code-compliant building systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design of electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage) for high-rise residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial buildingsProduce detailed construction documents and specifications in compliance with NEC, Florida Building Code, and local jurisdiction requirementsCoordinate with architects, mechanical and plumbing engineers, contractors, and utility companiesReview shop drawings, conduct field visits, and support construction administrationMentor junior electrical designers and support QA/QC of electrical deliverablesCollaborate with project managers to ensure budgets and schedules are metStay up to date on new technologies, energy codes, and sustainable design practicesRequired QualificationsActive Florida Professional Engineer (PE) licenseBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field6+ years of electrical design experience in the MEP consulting industryProject experience in high-rise residential, commercial hospitality, or mixed-use buildingsProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and lighting calculation software (e.g., AGi32)Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA codes, and Florida Building CodePreferred QualificationsLEED accreditation or familiarity with sustainable building practicesFamiliarity with Arc Flash and Short Circuit studiesExperience working with local utility companies in FloridaBenefitsBase salary of $120,000-$170,000 depending on experiencePerformance-based bonusesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysCareer development support and continuing education allowance#J-18808-Ljbffr
