Sr. Electrical EngineerLocation : Rochester (Relocation Assistance Available)Salary : $120,000 – $130,000Industry : Aerospace / Aviation / DefenseJob Category : Engineering – ElectricalWork Schedule : 9/80 Schedule – Employees work 9 days out of every 14, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer / Product Support Engineer to support advanced military communication products throughout their lifecycle. This role is ideal for candidates with strong troubleshooting and analytical experience in: Analog circuits Digital systems RF technologies. The selected candidate will work closely with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams to diagnose complex hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, conduct simulations and experiments, and implement corrective actions.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot analog and digital hardware issues down to component levelSupport military communication products through production and lifecycle phasesConduct engineering experiments and analyze test resultsPerform circuit design and analysis using simulation toolsCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and support teamsLead small technical troubleshooting/design teamsSupport prototype debugging and new product introductionsProvide guidance and technical support to technicians and junior engineersWork in a fast-paced, cross-functional engineering environmentRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with Analog electronics, Digital electronics, RF systems (preferred but not mandatory)Hands‑on troubleshooting experience to component levelExperience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generatorsAbility to independently diagnose and solve engineering problemsStrong communication and technical leadership skillsExperience working in manufacturing or product support environments preferredQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR 10+ years of related Electrical Engineering experience in lieu of degreeAdditional RequirementsAbility to obtain a US Secret Security ClearanceStrong problem‑solving mindsetAbility to work both independently and within collaborative engineering teamsIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a hands‑on electrical engineer with strong troubleshooting capabilities who enjoys solving complex hardware issues and supporting products from prototype through production.
