Position Overview:As an Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of the hardware design and development of embedded electronic products from concepts through production. You'll lead electrical architecture decisions, oversee PCB development, and provide sustaining engineering support for mature products. This is a technical role for someone passionate about building reliable, field‑ready products.SummaryDesign and develop embedded electronic systems for products such as electric water cannons, vehicle lighting, pressure governors, sensors, and control modulesDrive hardware development, including schematic design, PCB layout functional and system level testingCollaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, manufacturing engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, manufacturable solutionsDesigns and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipmentDetermines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing productsDirects activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirementsDirects and coordinates operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and systems in field installationsUses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasksCreates project timelines based on product specifications and manages projects to meet commitmentsProvide technical support and guidance on determining root cause analysis of legacy productsInterface with engineering team and vendors to implement new and modified designProvide frequent progress updates to manager to ensure the efficient and timely completion of specific project milestonesQualifications: Strong knowledge of microcontroller‑based hardware design.
