Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the entire hardware development cycle, with a focus on schematic and PCB design, as well as thorough testing at various levels.
- Partner with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and product teams to produce reliable, scalable solutions.
- Lead engineering teams in the creation of testing apparatus and the implementation of quality assurance methods.
- Ensure manufacturing, setup, and testing processes align with required specifications and customer needs.
- Oversee operation, troubleshooting, and system upgrades in deployed field units.
- Utilize cutting-edge engineering software tools for design and problem-solving.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, ensuring diligent execution and delivery.
- Provide technical expertise in conducting root cause analysis on established products.
- Engage with vendors and engineering teams to integrate new and revised designs seamlessly.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in microcontroller hardware design, with expertise in platforms such as ARM and Microchip.
- Strong grasp of electronic design principles for ensuring compliance with EMC/EMI standards.
- Skilled in using schematic and PCB layout applications, such as Altium.
- In-depth knowledge of communication interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Familiarity with integrating wireless solutions such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular, and LoRa is advantageous.
- Knowledgeable about DC motor control systems.
- Experience utilizing critical test instruments like oscilloscopes and signal generators.
- Proven track record in lab testing and problem-solving.
- Experience working across diverse locations with interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects within scope, budget, and set timeframes.
- Self-driven, with strong interpersonal capabilities, adept at creative problem-solving.
- Background in environments emphasizing significant manufacturing processes.

- Over five years of experience in designing and upholding embedded hardware systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
