Senior Electrical Engineer (EE)
Position Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing new electrical systems and analyzing existing systems to develop safe, reliable, and cost-effective industrial power solutions. This role performs engineering analysis, system design, diagnostics, quality assurance, equipment inspections, and technical troubleshooting while ensuring projects are completed on time and in accordance with applicable codes and client specifications.
The Senior Electrical Engineer also provides technical leadership, mentors junior engineers, and supports continuous process improvement. This position reports to the Manager of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Engineering and offers the opportunity for future promotion into that leadership role following a successful transition.
Essential Responsibilities
Education
Experience
10-15 years of electrical engineering experience within an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environment.
Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
Experience with industrial process instrumentation, including:
Control valves
Pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters
Flow measurement technologies
Process automation and control systems
Experience using ETAP electrical engineering software.
