About the Role:
To have a deep understanding of equipment layout and continuous processes and using this knowledge to support the broader organization in achieving process performance improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Engineering or other related process knowledge (preferred), Bachelors degree in business or Engineering (preferred); Electrical background and Project management (required)
Experience: 5 + years in technical role 5 + years Project Management required
Areas of Knowledge:
• Equipment layout • Parts sourcing • Equipment repairs • NFPA • NEC • Loss prevention • OSHA
Skills:
• Ability to train • Organization • Project layout and management • Report writing • AutoCAD • Project design & execution • Substation design • Troubleshooting • Electrical design & load calculations
Role Responsibilities:
Layout, design, acquire parts and manage new projects and equipment upgrades. Drive improvements in our Capability and Technology of critical processes. Serve as bridge between maintenance, production, engineering and technical when working on projects.
Success is in part determined by:
Projects completed on time and within budget. Added productivity out of processes (quality pounds added), reduction in downtime and quality related costs. Adherence to cost, schedule, performance of shutdowns and outages. Good plans in place for all outages and good communication of those plans. Capex program planned and executed with a focus on reducing unsecured critical spares. Support of Superintendent and General Superintendents in performing shop needs.
