Sr. Electronic Test Technician (ATSO)

General Summary

We’re looking for a high achieving Electronics Test Technician who thrives in a fast, rapidly changing, high-pressure environment to join Astronics. That can engage with both internal and external customers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Electronic Technician degree or equivalent with an understanding of Digital and Analog Testing.
• Proficient at board level repair
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions.
• Proficiency in measuring devices and instruments
• DMM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, Signal Generator, Calibrators
• Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical specifications
• Excellent organizational skill
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work in teams and to think/act quick on their feet
• Ability to Solder SMD packages.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• In circuit testing experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong electronic troubleshooting skills
• SMD soldering expertise
• PCB Rework
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision as well as collaboratively with others.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to customers and channel partners
• Proficiency with standard business software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word.
• Ability to learn our management system and web-based applications
• Ability to clearly recognize and report relevant information.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
