Tittle: Sr. Embedded Software Engineer - C++, Ada, RTOS, Defense Work location: Onsite in Camarillo, CA Duration: 12 months Terms: W2 Contract Work authorization: US Citizen; must hold a current/active Secret security clearance
Position Description:
Develop embedded real-time system software.
Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.
Resolve software and system defects.
Collaborate with our customers, internal sites and disciplines.
Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings.
Use project dependent tools including:
Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS
Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
Ada, C/C++, C#, Python
Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux
Required Qualifications:
BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience.
Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#.
Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.
Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.).
US Citizenship required.
DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
Strong collaborative mindset.
Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program.
Experience programming with Ada language.
Experience programming with C++ language.
Experience with real-time embedded software development.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.
