What You Can Expect
The Senior Engineer plays a pivotal role in advancing innovative solutions within the Advanced Technologies team. This position requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to independently manage significant engineering tasks while contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies, such as surgical navigation, wearable sensors, and instrumented implants.
The Senior Engineer will lead portions of the development lifecycle, providing technical guidance to less experienced team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that align with Paragon 28s mission.

Ideal candidates are expected to bring strength in several of the following areas:
Software & Algorithm Development
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar
Experience developing algorithms for data processing, computational modeling, or systems control
Machine Learning & Computer Vision
Experience applying ML/CV techniques to real-world problems
Familiarity with model development, evaluation, and deployment
Data & Statistical Analysis
Experience with statistical modeling, data analysis, and performance evaluation
Ability to work with real-world datasets (noisy, incomplete, clinical, etc.)
Systems & Product Integration
Experience working within larger systems (e.g., surgical navigation, sensors, wearables, or similar)
Understanding of how software integrates with hardware and/or clinical workflows
Medical Device Product Development
Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks, 3-Matic, Fusion 360)
Experience in requirements-based product development
Additional Strengths
Travel Expectations
Up to 10% overnight travel may be required.
Compensation Data
Salary: $90,000 - $135,000 USD annually plus bonus eligibility
