Senior Application Engineer

Estimated annual base pay: $93,000 (minimum) - $121,000 (midpoint) - $149,000 (maximum)

All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Maintenance: Fully proficient with application software and associated operator interface/HMI software to support test setups, debug recommendations, and software changes.

Advanced Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves intricate technical challenges by analyzing multiple information sources and applying innovative solutions.

Application Processes: Supports the commercial group in proposal creation, technical support of commercial offers, and customer presentations. Creates product specifications, software and application literature for Minor Scope Projects/Systems.

Project Management: Leads small to medium sized engineering projects, coordinating resources and timelines to achieve project objectives.

Technical Leadership: Guides the design and implementation of complex application systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in primary and related technical domains, adept with a range of technologies.

Effective Communication: Proficient in conveying difficult or sensitive information and fostering consensus.

Cross functional Collaboration: Skilled in working with multiple global teams and subject matter experts, internal and external, to build consensus and drive successful outcomes across multiple projects.

Complex Problem Solving: Ability to solve sophisticated technical issues through analytical judgment. Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Mentorship and Support: Acts as a resource for junior engineers, providing guidance, training, and knowledge sharing to enhance team expertise.

Market and Competitive Awareness: Knowledge of market differentiators and competitive landscape to drive strategic initiatives.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze multiple sources of information to make informed strategic decisions.

Best Practices Knowledge: In depth understanding of industry best practices and their application within the organization. Promotes and implements process improvements.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Skilled in creating, maintaining and adhering to accurate technical requirements, documentation and records.

Applying Standards: Working knowledge of standards and the ability to apply complex groupings of standards into projects.

Other Qualifications:

4 Year Bachelors BS degree AND 4+ years equivalent experience

Successful candidates typically have:

Network Management

Cyber Security knowledge

Gas Turbines experience

Control Systems / PLC

Balance of Plant (BOP)

Power Generation

HMI
