Description

OverviewThe Sr Engineer (Electrical) is an independent contributor role that can plan, analyze and implement designs and improvements cooperatively as part of a team. This position is a technical role within the hardware development team contributing to new and existing electrical systems in Ivenix products to achieve performance goals and business objectives.Hybrid role, Onsite 3 days per week in North Andover, MA.Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000.ResponsibilitiesDesign & develop analog, digital, mixed signal and power circuits used in Ivenix designed productsBuild and test prototypes to verify design functionPerform and document failure analysis of returned productInvestigate new technologies and best practicesOptimize designs for low-cost, high quality, high reliability and high-volume assemblyWork with customers and/or vendors as needed regarding technical issuesWork cross-functionally with internal and external resources during design, prototyping, and transfer to manufacturing activitiesEstablish engineering design documentationPrepare technical records and files, including engineering changesFocus design efforts around improved performance and reduced complexityCreate artifacts in support of design, redesign, prototype, and transfer to manufacturing activitiesPerform other related duties as assignedAll employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.QualificationsBS or MS in Electrical Engineering5+ years of experience as an electrical design engineer on product development teams1+ years of experience developing within a regulated environment (Medical, Aerospace, Military)Experience designing schematics in Altium or other schematic capture systemFamiliarity with regulations governing electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility and the activities necessary to achieve IEC60601 certificationFamiliarity with circuit simulation tools such as PSpiceCompensation & BenefitsEligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 8% of the base salaryFinal pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilitiesComprehensive benefits including 401(k) plan with company contributions, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, employee assistance program, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision)Life insurance, disability, wellness programEqual Opportunity StatementFresenius Kabi is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
