Sr Engineering Technician

SHIFT: Day

EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an Engineering Technician for our well-established client in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will perform complex technical tasks to help engineers with activities related to product development.

• Develop plans based on discussions, diagrams, descriptions, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
• Determine how to correct complex malfunctions of electronic systems.
• Design, construct, and verify test equipment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of related experience.
• Advanced electrical/electronic circuit/component knowledge.
• Ability to analyze needs and product requirements to design tests.
• Strong problem-solving skills

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Aerospace equipment test equipment (such as DO-160 testing)
• Nuclear industry experience.
• Working knowledge of government grant or government contracts.
