Akkodis is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in testing and troubleshooting while conducting pressure tests, assembling test setups, and ensuring accurate and timely results.
Rate Range: $38/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Engineering Technician Job Responsibilities include:
Perform high-volume pneumatic and hydraulic testing on precision components to validate performance and reliability.
Conduct pressure and performance testing, analyze results, and ensure accuracy of test outcomes.
Assemble, disassemble, and maintain test stands and equipment in the fluid power lab.
Troubleshoot testing issues and identify defects to improve product quality and performance.
Maintain documentation of test procedures, results, and observations for compliance and reporting.
Work independently to meet deadlines while ensuring safety and operational standards are followed.
Required Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
4-6 years of hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, or fluid power systems.
Strong experience in pneumatic and hydraulic testing, including pressure and performance validation of components.
Proven ability to troubleshoot test systems, work independently, and maintain accuracy in high-volume testing environments.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
