Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Sr Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will perform high-volume hydraulic and pneumatic pressure testing while ensuring accurate troubleshooting and efficient production processes.

Rate Range: $35/Hour to $38/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Engineering Technician Responsibilities include:

• Perform high-volume testing of commercial and military hydraulic and pneumatic components to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

• Troubleshoot and analyze test results to identify defects and support corrective actions.

• Operate and maintain high-pressure fluid power testing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Record and evaluate testing data, time studies, and production metrics to improve operational efficiency.

• Follow established procedures and make timely decisions while working independently with minimal supervision.

• Support production goals by assisting with process improvements and providing guidance to team members when required.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 4-6 years of experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical testing, or a related manufacturing environment.

• Previous testing and troubleshooting experience with high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred.

• Ability to work independently, make timely decisions, and demonstrate strong initiative with minimal supervision.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
