The Sr. Escrow Processor is responsible for managing day-to-day escrow processing activities while delivering a high level of customer service throughout the home financing process. This role focuses on coordinating transactions, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a key point of contact for internal teams, homebuyers, and external partners to ensure a smooth and timely closing experience.
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $20.00-25.00/hour
Duration: Contract-to-hire
Schedule: Fully onsite (5 days/week)
• Manage escrow files from processing through completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, builders, and internal stakeholders via phone and in person
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and other third parties to gather required documentation and move files forward
• Track and manage multiple transactions using Excel and internal systems to ensure deadlines are met
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy; proactively identify and resolve issues
• Maintain detailed, organized records of all file activity and communications
• Provide exceptional service to homebuyers, guiding them through the process with clear and professional communication
• Collaborate closely with a small onsite team and builder partner in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Support office operations across Tampa and Sarasota locations as needed
• Ensure all tasks are completed with a focus on quality over speed
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of escrow processing experience required (true processing experience; closing-only experience not sufficient)
• Strong customer service experience with frequent client interaction
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, organization, task management)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully onsite, team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance
• Florida Notary commission
• Experience with SoftPro or similar escrow/title software
• Background in mortgage, title, or real estate transactions
