    Description

    The Sr. Executive Recruiter is a senior specialty recruiting professional operating at the L6 level within Amazon"s Global Talent Acquisition organization. This role is dedicated exclusively to executive-level search and talent strategy for AWS Infrastructure Services, partnering directly with senior hiring leaders to identify, engage, and hire transformational talent at the Director and Vice President levels.

    The successful candidate brings deep knowledge of technical executive talent markets, a sophisticated approach to building long-term engaged pipelines, and the ability to serve as a true strategic partner to some of the most senior leaders in AWS Infrastructure. The role requires rare expertise in navigating complex organizational dynamics, succession planning, and building executive presence in every candidate and hiring manager interaction.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Own full-cycle executive search for Director and VP roles across AWS Infrastructure Services, including Data Center Engineering, Network Services, Supply Chain, and Global Data Center Operations.
    • Build and maintain a proactive, long-term engaged pipeline of executive-level technical talent across AMER, EMEA, and APAC markets.
    • Partner directly with senior hiring leaders, including VPs and Directors, to develop talent strategies, align on ideal candidate profiles, and drive informed hiring decisions.
    • Lead succession planning efforts for critical roles, providing market intelligence, competitor landscape analysis, and proactive pipeline development.
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across diverse channels including direct outreach, referral networks, industry events, and specialty executive search methodologies.
    • Conduct in-depth candidate assessments evaluating executive leadership competencies, technical scope, organizational scale, and cultural alignment with Amazon Leadership Principles.
    • Build and deliver compelling talent briefs, search updates, and market insights to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise, and data-driven format.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent market dynamics, competitive compensation landscape, and candidate engagement strategy.
    • Partner with Recruiting Coordinators and Research Agents to drive operational excellence across the recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.
    • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of specialty recruiting processes, tools, and frameworks
    • Represent Amazon with professionalism and discretion in all external candidate and referral interactions, including high-touch communications with executive-level prospects.
