As a Sr Export Compliance Officer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company operates within the boundaries of export laws and regulations and maintains a strong culture of compliance. You will report to Senior Manager within the Export Compliance organization and you'll work out of one of our key locations on a hybrid work schedule.. In this role, you will share responsibility for Honeywell Aerospace's adherence to export and sanctions compliance. This role sits at the intersection of export and sanctions compliance and IT technical controls. We will look to you to be knowledgeable about the U.S. and international export and sanctions regimes to ensure that Honeywell Aerospace's internal and external tooling furthers compliance through automation, digitation, and technical controls. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Monitor key third-party systems used by Export Sanctions personnel, such as SAP-GTS, Teamcenter, Salesforce, OCR EASE, and Descanters to identify and troubleshoot issues in a proactive manner to ensure seamless operations.. + Monitor systems created by Honeywell Aerospace and used by Export & Sanctions Compliance personnel and also by internal/external customers, such as Honeywell Aerospace's Automated Export Compliance System (AECS). + Support Honeywell Aerospace's Cloud Data Council, which is a multi-stakeholder group that reviews cloud-based data platforms and applications to ensure compliance with sensitive and regulated data requirements. + Draft requirements for systems used to manage compliance requirements, partner with IT to understand those requirements, and supervise execution of same. + Review system architectures as proposed by Honeywell Aerospace IT and assess architecture against export and sanctions compliance processes. Provide design requirements + Collaborate with Compliance team members to integrate automation solutions into operational workflows. + Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to advise on potential impacts on regulated data management. + Evaluate and recommend cloud and AI technologies and tools to enhance our services. Y **OU MUST HAVE** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. + 2+ years of experience in export and/or sanctions compliance. + Understanding of technology controls for data subject to US export control laws and a working familiarity of the legal requirements for US export and sanctions regulations. + Experience with security best practices in cloud environments and familiarity with compliance standards. + Experience with SAP-GTS, EASE, and screening tools. + Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives for ERP and PLM tools.
