Description

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior SAP FICO Lead to own the design and implementation of Finance and Controlling within our SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud program. This role will play a critical part in shaping financial processes, ensuring integration across operations and supply chain, and driving a successful end-to-end implementation.

This individual will serve as the functional owner of FICO, partnering closely with business stakeholders and implementation partners to translate requirements into scalable, standardized SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO)

• Own core finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Product Costing

• Partner with business stakeholders to define future-state financial processes aligned with SAP best practices

• Drive fit-to-standard workshops, requirement validation, and solution design decisions

• Ensure seamless integration between FICO and other modules (MM, PP, SD, WM, Quality)

• Work closely with implementation partners (Reply) to guide configuration, testing, and deployment

• Lead financial data migration strategy, validation, and reconciliation

• Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure finance readiness for go-live

• Identify risks, gaps, and process inefficiencies and drive resolution

• Act as the primary point of accountability for finance during go-live and stabilization

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and cross-functional stakeholders

What Success Looks Like

• Finance processes are clearly defined, standardized, and aligned with SAP best practices

• Strong integration between finance, operations, and supply chain

• Clean, accurate financial data migration and reporting readiness at go-live

• High engagement and alignment from finance stakeholders throughout the program

• On-time, high-quality delivery through testing, go-live, and stabilization

Brand:
Steuben Foods

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, including multiple full-cycle implementations

• Proven experience leading FICO in an SAP S/4HANA implementation (Public Cloud preferred)

• Strong hands-on experience with configuration and solution design (not just advisory)

• Deep understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Costing, Fixed Assets)

• Experience integrating FICO with manufacturing and supply chain modules

• Background in manufacturing or food & beverage environments strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions

• Experience working with external implementation partners and managing deliverables

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage, dairy, or beverage CPG manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with co-manufacturing or co-packing business models

• Experience supporting finance in complex, high-volume manufacturing operations

• Exposure to regulated environments (FDA, quality, traceability)

• Understanding of product costing in process manufacturing environments
