Job Description
This position will be part ofGroup Finance Transformation team supporting multiple divisions in the Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG) with a global impact. This role will work closely with the business, IT, and Finance System teams to develop and implement a broad portfolio of projects with a focus on implementation of ERP and related financial technologies. Key success factors for this role will include a broader utilization of tools across multiple divisions within SDG as well as a common data strategy and an increased focus on the end use of financial data in SPoT to deliver complete and accurate financial reporting. This position requires the candidate to have excellent communication skills, a systems mindset and a willingness to explore new technology and develop strategic plans that will enable finance to be seen as a transformational function.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with IT and business teams on system architecture, ERP mapping, and ETL design
Identify and resolve data discrepancies, enhancement requests, and business specific use cases
Lead coordination of systems setup, integration, testing, training, and communication
Respond to General Ledger Analytics (GLA) inquiries and deliver actionable reports to end customers
Conduct root-cause analyses and triage defects between IT and Business teams
Support Lead the monthly close reconciliation process between all systems (ERP, EDW, CDW, SPoT, CMR, HFM, and Planning)
Build strong business partnerships by actively listening to and incorporating reporting needs
Ensure financial data and mappings in reporting and ERP systems enable accurate, complete, and timely financial management reporting
Collaborate with IT and business partners to identify and address data discrepancies and enhancement opportunities
Design and configure multiple financial systems for integration projects involving Finance data platforms on the Common Information Model
Partner with data governance teams to ensure technology solutions comply with established data standards
Manage cross-functional teams in a matrix environment based on project scope and requirements
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance systems
Proficiency in systems such as PowerBI, Workday, HFM, FDM, CMR/Essbase, Hyperion Planning, SAP, or similar platforms
Demonstrated proficiency in GPT, UiPath, Codex and AI technologies to drive data analytics, process automation, and operational efficiency improvements.
Experience with data warehousing and integration technologies (e.g., Databricks, AWS Athena, Cognos, Data Lakes, SQL)
Strong understanding of database structures (fact vs. dimension tables, schema design, primary and secondary keys)
Knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) mapping and processes for root-cause analysis and defect troubleshooting
Proven ability to develop strategic plans and drive organizational change
Deep understanding of finance, accounting principles, and their impact on reporting systems
Comfortable collaborating with remote teams using various communication tools
Flexible with working hours to accommodate project needs across multiple time zones
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.
