Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 3-Month W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $34.00-$38.00/hour
Position Overview
Our client, a global health insurance provider is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join its Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys using financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with forecasting and financial reporting, and the ability to communicate financial results to leadership. You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain forecasts and budgets related to margins, intercompany activity, and key financial metrics.
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to forecast the impact of intercompany management fees.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including:
Actuals reconciliation
Budget reporting
Forecast reporting
Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
Present financial analysis, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Revenue, and Healthcare Operations, to support business objectives.
Assist with the enterprise-wide annual budgeting process using SmartView.
Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests and provide data-driven insights.
Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality.
