Sparks Group has partnered with a renowned government transportation contractor to seek a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Analyst with expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials to support enterprise ERP implementation and testing initiatives. This role will focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing, leading functional testing efforts, validating end-to-end financial processes, and partnering with business and technical teams to ensure successful system delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong Oracle Financials experience, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to execute comprehensive testing throughout the implementation lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute functional test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle Cloud Financials, supporting Unit, System Integration (SIT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
  • Validate end-to-end financial processes, including Accounts Receivable, Billing, Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), General Ledger, and Asset Management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integration testing between Oracle Financials Cloud modules and external systems.
  • Track, manage, and resolve testing defects using JIRA while collaborating with business users, functional SMEs, and technical teams to drive issue resolution.
  • Support Oracle Cloud implementation activities by validating business process flows, reporting, and overall system readiness for production.

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials functional testing experience.
  • Strong functional expertise in Accounts Receivable and Billing, including billing, receipts, collections, and financial transaction processing.
  • Working knowledge of General Ledger and Asset Management, with experience supporting the full testing lifecycle, including Unit, System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
  • Experience translating business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios, managing defects with JIRA, validating reports, and supporting module integrations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle ERP implementations, and Procurement, Treasury, or Projects/PPM modules is highly preferred.
