USE YOUR POWER FOR PURPOSE

The SeniorFinite Scheduler is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for optimizing the utilization of production assets through effective capacity and resource planning. This position plays a critical role in aligning manufacturing activities with demand forecasts and supply chain constraints by creating and maintaining detailed, integrated production schedules.

The scheduler ensures all manufacturing and non-manufacturing activities are sequenced efficiently and executed in accordance with process parameters, standard work models, and GMP/regulatory requirements. Working cross-functionally with Operations, EMU, Tech Ops, and Supply Chain teams, the role leads or co-leads scheduling and capacity optimization initiatives, supports the implementation of new planning systems and tools, and develops dashboards to monitor and report key performance indicators. The position also leverages MRP systems to manage production orders and execute transactions that support compliant and timely product manufacturing.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain finite production schedules based on available assets, labor, materials and production priorities.

  • Implement new scheduling systems and create real-time dashboards through project management.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, process support groups, and supply chain to align schedules with capacity and resource constraints.

  • Optimize the use of manufacturing equipment and facilities, minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput.

  • Monitor and update schedules in response to changes in demand, supply distributions, or operational issues.

  • Facilitate routine cross functional planning meetings with key stakeholders to communicate the finite production schedule.

  • Use scheduling software to create detailed, feasible schedules.

  • Use process models to identify potential bottlenecks, “what if” scenarios and model solutions.

  • Support investigations in relation to scheduling issues.

  • Support supply chain continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Support audit readiness.

  • Service as a single point of contact for escalations and updates.

  • Maintain orders in SAP from plan, release, and delivery/confirmation to enable manufacture of product.

  • Performs other transactions to send accurate supply/demand signals through SAP

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements)

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience. 

  • Strong analytical, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in System Application & Products (SAP).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of supply chain practices within a manufacturing environment.

  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.

  • Competence in Microsoft Office Tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE (Preferred Requirements)

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment constraints, and GMP compliance.

  • Comprehensive experience in finite capacity scheduling systems.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP ERP.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Production experience in a GMP manufacturing area.

  • Familiarity with cleanroom scheduling, campaign planning, and equipment changeover optimization.

  • Experience in operating within a regulated environment (EMEA, FDA).

  •  APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,200.00 to $165,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
