A Senior Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineer is responsible for optimizing the reliability and mechanical integrity of stationary industrial equipment like pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and furnaces within a production facility, by analyzing failure data, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations, often acting as a subject matter expert on fixed equipment integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Sr Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineer
The Sr. Reliability Engineer drives mechanical asset availability for their assigned production unit and forecasts capital and maintenance needs to reduce risks to production OEE and maintenance budget. The primary role of the Sr. Reliability Engineer is to ensure the availability and ability of mechanical assets to meet the unit’s production goals. Additionally, the Sr. Reliability Engineer supports both Capital and Expense projects to ensure design is both reliable and maintainable. Continuous improvement of both Technical and Behavioral skills through training and certification courses.
