About the Role
The Crème Shop is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead and scale our financial planning and analysis function. This role will be a key strategic partner to executive leadership and department heads, driving financial rigor across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10+ years of progressive finance experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of business performance metrics in a consumer goods or retail environment. This individual will be responsible for leading budget and forecast processes, evaluating business performance, mentoring junior team members, and guiding strategic decision-making.
Title: Senior FP&A Manager
Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Onsite with one day telecommuting
Salary Range: $130k - $140k
(Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs, in compliance with California pay transparency requirements.)
Responsibilities:
Lead company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and long-range strategic planning cycles, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment across functions
Own all financial reporting processes including monthly and quarterly business reviews, management reporting, and board-level presentations.
Deliver detailed variance analyses and performance reporting with clear, data-driven narratives and strategic insights.
Collaborate with the executive team and department heads to develop financial strategies that support company objectives, growth initiatives, and cost optimization.
Oversee the development of financial models to support scenario planning, product pricing, business cases, margin improvement, and M&A analysis.
Champion process improvements and implementation of reporting automation tools to streamline forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers, providing recommendations to optimize results.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls; support audit readiness and documentation.
Coach and manage a growing FP&A team to support business scaling.
Act as a strategic finance advisor across the organization.
Other duties as assigned per department needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
7–10+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, including experience in a leadership or people management role.
Korean-Bilingual required to communicate regularly with HQ.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required, strong proficiency with dashboards and scenario planning tools.
Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex financial data into business insights.
Strong business acumen with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and business partnering skills.
Experience in consumer goods, retail, or beauty industries strongly preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
