Sr. FPGA Design Engineer -Melbourne, FL – Onsite

Visa: GC/ USC (ITAR role)

Salary : $140- $160K/YR depending on Exp

Responsibilities

FPGA design, development, and documentation

DSP algorithm implementation in FPGA hardware

Hardware bring-up, debugging, and lab validation

Support software and system integration and testing activities

Participate in design reviews and documentation

Work within structured development and verification processes

Required Skills:

Strong VHDL FPGA development experience

DSP / digital signal processing implementation

Xilinx FPGA tools and architectures

MATLAB modeling and simulation

DO-254 development experience

Hardware lab testing and system integration

Linux development environment experience

Timing analysis and timing closure

RF, SDR, radar, or communications systems experience

FPGA board bring-up and hardware debugging

Experience with ModelSim, Questa

Requirements capture and detailed design documentation"

Nice to Have:

UVM / System Verilog verification

Verilog and System Verilog

TCL, Python, or Bash scripting

High-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, JESD204, SERDES)

AXI / AXI-Stream protocols

Embedded Linux and C/C++

Zynq or MPSoC development

Automated testbench and regression development

Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing

Git and CI/CD development workflows

Aerospace, defense, or safety-critical systems experience
