This role expands the Geotechnical Design Group within the infrastructure sector, requiring a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate with structural, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines in a design-build delivery environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide project support during the proposal/bid phase, identifying and evaluating innovative, cost‑effective design solutions to geotechnical problems.Work with the pursuit team to identify key design risks and develop mitigation plans.Develop design recommendations, produce design deliverables, and potentially serve as geotechnical lead or project manager on EPC/design‑build projects.QualificationsMaster's degree or equivalent experience in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field, required.11+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience (15+ preferred).Registration as a Professional Engineer in the U.S., required.Broad technical knowledge of deep and shallow foundations, slope stability, seismic engineering, retaining wall design, earth retention, rock mechanics, settlement of compressible soils, ground improvement techniques, excavation support, and dewatering.Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in interdisciplinary design coordination.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and review work of others.Proven success in fostering strong team relationships.Ability to travel to project sites and work safely in varying climatic and environmental conditions.EPC or design‑build experience, preferred.Experience using AI agents and tools, preferred.Other RequirementsRegular, reliable attendance.Ability to meet deadlines and work productively.Effective and professional communication with supervisors, employees, and others.Compliance with safety practices, oral and written instructions, and site policies.Work during normal hours with readiness for overtime and weekends as needed.Flexibility to work at various locations as required.Base Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 per year.
