What We Can Achieve Together:

The Sr. Global Workday Platform Release Administrator leads, manages, and analyzes release management activities for Workday to include ancillary, change, Workday bi-annual releases with a focus on impact, risk and stakeholder relationships.

The Sr. Global Workday Platform Release Administrator will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Workday releases, (bi-annual, one-off, weekly service updates, bi-weekly change releases) This position's focus will be to ensure seamless delivery of updates and changes to The Nature Conservancy's Workday environments, while creating strong relationships with HCM, Finance, IT, Quality Management, Security, Privacy and AI stakeholders.

In addition, this position will serve as an expert in Workday Deployment Methodology and coordinate with assigned resources to implement changes requiring either manual or automated deployment activities. Experience leading Workday release management activities that ensure all changes are well-governed, tested, and implemented with minimal disruption and maximum institutional value would be highly valued.

Comprehensively, the Sr. Global Workday Platform Release Administrator analyzes, tests, and evaluates mid-level business systems and service needs. They may gather document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to overall business strategies. They may ensure the reliability, availability, performance and recoverably of systems. They collaborate laterally with other IT staff to identify and leverage solutions across business units. This role may be responsible for project or task management and issues related to implementing and establishing technical standards and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

  • Work in lateral teams to provide guidance and specific expertise to business teams on products/systems.
  • Knowledgeable about the strategies, goals, actions and work processes of the business/system/service/operations s/he works with.
  • Conducts analysis of business or technical user needs, documenting requirements and develop system specification.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and end users to ensure Workday release compatibility and satisfaction.
  • Ability to adapt and/or modify processes in response to changing circumstances.
  • Well versed in specific industry best practices, and an ability to adapt them to TNC's organization.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple mid-level complex projects.
  • Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for IT tasks.
  • Writing and maintaining detailed systems documentation, including user manuals and technical manuals.
  • Translate user/or systems requirements into functional technical specification.
  • Establish control policies in accordance with best practices and defining benchmarks and measures.
  • Ensure proper coordination and collaboration with other teams.
  • Willing to travel and work flexible long hours and on the weekend.
  • Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.
