Responsibilities
- Develop and support financial systems for government pricing business analysis, contract negotiations, and compliance management.
- Accurately calculate statutory pricing and rebate calculations under current government regulations.
- Optimize operations using technology and tools, ensuring integrity in government pricing systems.
- Perform as the Vistex Government Pricing SME, managing all open issues.
- Analyze complex problems, organize, identify underlying causes, and generate solutions for government pricing reporting.
- Coordinate contract document development and legal review on government contracts.
- Maintain pricing within government pricing system according to contract volume trends.
- Lead government pricing projects with supervisory/project management skills.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards (SOX, CMS, State Medicaid filing requirements).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required (Business or Finance major preferred); MBA preferred.
- 2-4 years of financial analysis experience.
- Excellent analytical skills to calculate and submit accurate pricing and assess financial impact.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for interaction with all levels of internal and external customers.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferences
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Vistex experience is a plus; SAP expertise is a must.
- Proficiency in Excel and understanding of database applications.
