Akkodis is seeking an Sr Graphic Designer for a Contract with a client in Alameda, CA. The ideal candidate with proven experience creates social-first content, including graphics, motion design, and short-form videos.
Rate Range: $70/Hour to $75/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities include:
Design and create high-quality social media assets, including static posts, carousels, stories, reels, thumbnails, and digital advertisements.
Develop visually engaging, brand-aligned content tailored to various social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
Produce and edit short-form videos, motion graphics, and animated content to enhance audience engagement.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and creative teams to support campaigns and ensure visual consistency across all digital channels.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high creative standards.
Stay updated on social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging design techniques to deliver innovative and effective content.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
3-5 years of experience in graphic design, social media content creation, digital marketing, or a related creative role.
Strong portfolio showcasing social-first design, motion graphics, and short-form video content across multiple digital platforms.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and video editing tools, with a solid understanding of visual storytelling and mobile-first design principles.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
