Amazon is looking for a Sr. HR Business Partner to support Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics. This is a unique opportunity to work in lockstep with teams who are inventing the world"s most advanced fulfillment network.

The Sr. HR Business Partner in this role will coach business clients, design and deliver talent solutions to business problems, and advise executive leaders on business and organizational design strategies.

To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You'll help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development. You will drive strategic initiatives related to organizational design and effectiveness, culture, inclusion, and other opportunities that you uncover. You will support and develop senior management to be effective Amazon leaders and culture champions.

Key job responsibilities

The role is both a strategic and hands on role including improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence. Successful candidates will also demonstrate:

  • Genuine curiosity and ability to interpret business goals and recommend new approaches to talent acquisition and management.
  • Coaching and mentoring at executive management levels.
  • Ability to write strategic narratives (e.g. organizational health, talent planning, etc.) that directly affect the business to propose people-focused solutions and drive business outcomes.
  • Creative problem solving that works backwards from the end customer and the business client.
  • Success in creating and driving effective career development, retention, and recognition programs.
  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create meaningful client relationships.
  • The ability to think big but also not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves."
  • The ability to develop and execute on a talent planning strategy.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while continually moving initiatives forward.
  • The ability to develop a global strategy and work with international HR Business Partners to execute on that strategy.
  • Must be able to interface at executive levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
