Reach Beyond at PALFINGER as a Sr. HR Business Partner, serving as a strategic and hands-on partner to business leaders while aligning people priorities with business objectives. In this role, you will drive talent strategy, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and leadership development initiatives that support business success. Working closely with leaders and employees, you will translate business needs into effective HR strategies, enhance organizational performance, and influence key people decisions. Based in our North American HQ at Schaumburg, IL, with a hybrid work schedule, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a dynamic and collaborative organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities and organizational goals.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Implement HR programs and global initiatives while ensuring alignment with local business needs.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools, workforce analytics, and HR technology to enhance HR effectiveness, improve decision-making, and support business and talent outcomes.
• Analyze workforce data and key metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.
• Lead employee relations matters, performance management discussions, and organizational development efforts while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Progressive Human Resources experience supporting leaders in a strategic business partner capacity.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent management, organizational development, workforce planning, and employment law.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, manage change, and drive business results through effective people strategies.
• Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent), SAP SuccessFactors experience, and manufacturing industry experience preferred.
