We are seeking a Sr. IAM Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity team supporting a large enterprise environment. This individual will play a key role in managing user access, improving identity governance processes, and helping ensure secure access to business-critical applications.
This is a highly visible position that partners with IT, security, compliance, and business teams to strengthen identity governance while balancing security and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Manage identity and access governance processes across enterprise applications.
Support user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes throughout the employee lifecycle.
Help design and improve role-based access models and access governance practices.
Participate in periodic access reviews and certification campaigns.
Assist with access control audits, risk remediation, and compliance initiatives.
Partner with technical and business teams to implement secure access solutions.
Support integration of identity platforms with enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
Identify opportunities to automate manual identity management processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity and identity governance programs.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Approximately 6+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.
Experience supporting enterprise identity governance or access management solutions.
Understanding of identity lifecycle management, access controls, and governance concepts.
Experience working with enterprise applications and integrating identity solutions.
Familiarity with scripting or automation is helpful.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working in regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
Preferred
Industry certifications in cybersecurity or identity management.
Experience supporting large enterprise identity programs.
Knowledge of security, compliance, or governance best practices.
Experience within healthcare or another highly regulated industry is a plus.
