Summary

Our client is seeking a Sr. Identity & Access Management Engineer with experience in Active Directory/AWS Infrastructure to join a highly visible infrastructure modernization initiative within a large-scale global enterprise environment. This individual will play a key role in transforming and optimizing Active Directory services, implementing Cloud-based solutions within AWS, and helping build a secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure for the future.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who is passionate about modern infrastructure, automation, and Cloud technologies. You will work alongside architecture, operations, and engineering teams to improve reliability, enhance security, and support critical business initiatives across a complex enterprise landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Active Directory solutions in AWS environments.
• Deploy and maintain domain controllers, authentication services, and identity management solutions.
• Develop and enhance disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and PowerShell.
• Assist with the modernization of legacy systems and reduction of technical debt.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues through root cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and infrastructure automation efforts.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve system performance, scalability, and security.
• Recommend and implement best practices related to Cloud infrastructure, Active Directory, and enterprise operations.

Requirements

• Experience with the following:
• Active Directory (AD DS) administration and engineering;
• AWS infrastructures;
• Active Directory migrations, upgrades, and integrations;
• Kerberos authentication and identity management;
• Domain controller deployment and support;
• Terraform;
• Ansible and/or Chef;
• PowerShell scripting;
• CI/CD tools and processes;
• Disaster recovery and High Availability solutions;
• Root Cause analysis and troubleshooting;
• Working in large enterprise environments;
• Kerberos.

Preferred

• Experience with the following:
• Kubernetes (K8s);
• Docker;
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE);
• Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID;
• Identity & Access Management (IAM);
• DevOps practices;
• Hybrid Cloud environments;
• Enterprise-scale automation initiatives.

This is a 8-month-plus Contract opportunity with potential for hire with our MN client.
