Sr. Indirect Tax Analyst

Welcome to Love's! Our Indirect Tax team is recruiting a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to concentrate on tax research, planning, and strategic compliance management, providing essential support to leadership in decision-making.


Job Functions:


+ Lead the preparation and filing of complex multi-state indirect tax returns.

+ Conduct in-depth reconciliations and investigate tax discrepancies.

+ Serve as a technical expert on indirect tax matters.

+ Provide transactional tax planning to minimize tax liabilities.

+ Monitor and communicate legislative changes impacting tax compliance.

+ Lead tax research initiatives and maintain internal tax guides.

+ Oversee audits and manage relationships with tax authorities.

+ Develop and implement tax process improvements and automation strategies.

+ Partner with leadership to support business growth and expansion initiatives.

+ Mentor and train tax analysts at all levels.


Experience and Qualifications:


+ HS Diploma or equivalent required.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.

+ CPA, JD, CMI, MBA a plus.

+ 3+ years of related experience.


Skills:


+ Hard Skills: Deep expertise in tax regulations and compliance strategies; Expertise in tax compliance software (Avalara, Vertex, SRA, SAP).

+ Soft Skills: Strong leadership and ability to influence decision-making; Excellent communication and relationship management skills.


Typical Physical Demands:


+ Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

+ Occasional lifting up to25 pounds.

+ Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

+ Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
