Sr. Industrial Hygiene Technician
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality
- Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and mold
- Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects
- Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment
- Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data
- Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vital
- Assignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project manager
Requirements:
- Asbestos, Lead Paint, and IAQ certifications are required
- 4+ years of industrial hygiene and field experience
- Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction
- Associate or Bachelor's degrees are preferred
- Ability to travel to remote sites in the area; ability to work limited weekends
- Valid driver's license with clean driving recordS
