3 plus years of Internal Auditing experience
Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for leading manufacturing company located in the Detroit area. The ideal candidate will lead financial and operational audits of company facilities to evaluate compliance with various policy requirements and foster continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements of the Senior Internal Auditor
Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance
Advanced Degree preferred
3-6 years of audit experience
CPA, Public Accounting experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Responsibilities of the Senior Internal Auditor
Perform and lead the full audit engagement cycle, including risk assessments, planning procedures, fieldwork and reporting on audit results.
Review and reperform quarterly SOX internal control testing, including evaluation of design and operating effectiveness.
Assess the impact of business process changes on the control environment; identify and address new risk areas.
Execute Data Analytics as part of Internal Audit s Data Analytics Program.
Serve as a trusted advisor to foster continuous improvement within the organization as part of executing the Internal Audit plan.
All other duties as assigned.
