Sr. Interventional Technologist, Full time - San Francisco, CA (IK)

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Interventional Radiological Technologist.  This position will be supporting both Body and Neuro IR at our SF Parnassus campus.  Must be available to work Monday to Friday with call duties (50% pay) on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.   Call duties will be after.

The Senior IR Technologist advanced responsibilities can include, yet are not limited to the following:  

• Demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role.  
• Active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in IR 
• Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings.  
• Demonstrate competency and the ability to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  Minimum 3-6  years  of IR experience.   Previous experience in healthcare  environment required (minimum 3-5 years).   Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.   Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.  Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations  Must be willing to learn and train in Neuro-IR and Body-IR  Must be willing to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as necessary  Ability to self direct and organize a varied workload  REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS  ARRT Licensure, CRT Licensure, BLS (CPR) Certification,  VIR Certification within 1 year of hire  PREFERRED QUALIFICATION  Prefer recent work experience in an acute care setting Prefer  VIR  Certification  or obtained  within 1 year of hire Skills and Certifications:ARRT, CRT LicensureBLS CertificationMinimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experienceBody and Neuro IR experienceWilling to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center LocationsWilling to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as necessaryExperience in healthcare  environment required (minimum 3-5 years).Compensation Base Salary- USD $162,277 to $201,864 Benefits- Full Relocation Assistance Available- Possible for ideal candidateCandidate Details5+ to 7 years experience Seniority Level- Mid-Senior Willingness to Travel- OccasionallyScreening Questions Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience Body and Neuro IR experience Willing to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as n ARRT, CRT Licensure BLS Certification Recent work experience in an acute care setting VIR Certification (VASCULAR INTERVENTIONAL RADIOGRAPHY) or obtained within 1 year of hire Ideal Candidate 3-5 years Experienced with Neuro and Body IR, previous experience in similar acute care setting, experience working in both inpatient and outpatient setting.
