Qualifications
• At least seven years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
• Proficiency with AWS services, particularly AWS GovCloud
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and tools
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Grafana)
• Understanding of networking concepts and cloud network implementation
• Experience with identity and access management in cloud environments
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience with testing frameworks (unit testing, automated testing)

• SPLUNK experience is a plus

Position Description
The DevSecOps Architect will support the development and deployment of a new examiner workflow tool designed to replace and enhance a legacy system using AWS GovCloud services. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of integrating development, security, and operations practices while navigating the unique requirements of government cloud environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience with AWS GovCloud, cloud security principles, and federal compliance frameworks. The Architect will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure across multiple environments, including development, testing, staging, and production.
This position requires proactive identification and mitigation of security risks, strong automation capabilities, and the ability to foster collaboration across development, security, and operations teams. The DevSecOps Architect will help establish cloud‑native best practices, strengthen the organization’s security posture, and enable agile, efficient operations.
