This person should be comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment, driving decisions forward, facilitating stakeholders, and moving easily between executive level program discussions and detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, milestones, budget, quality, and implementation.
• Drive the program roadmap and maintain alignment between business objectives, project priorities, workstreams, and delivery activities.
• Coordinate across multiple workstreams and teams, including business stakeholders, technical teams, data/integration teams, and implementation partners.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Prepare and facilitate recurring project meetings, status meetings, sprint ceremonies, and Steering Committee meetings.
• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution.
• Support change management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders to identify, clarify, prioritize, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into SMART, actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that delivery teams can execute against.
• Ask effective questions, identify ambiguity and gaps, and help stakeholders move from concepts and desired outcomes to clearly defined requirements.
• Partner with business and technical teams to refine the product backlog and support prioritization of requirements and capabilities.
• Facilitate sprint planning and execution in collaboration with project leadership, solution architects, and delivery teams.
• Support development of foundational processes, governance, and Center of Excellence capabilities as appropriate.
• Communicate program status, key decisions, risks, and escalations effectively to executive and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, dependencies, risks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Strong business analysis and requirements facilitation experience.
• Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to balance appropriate analysis with timely decision-making.
• Strong executive and stakeholder communication skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation, negotiation, leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Pragmatic and action-oriented, with the ability to apply the appropriate level of rigor without over-engineering solutions.
• Proficiency with standard project management and productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with utility, energy, generation, procurement, RFP, or similar complex business processes.
• Experience functioning as a Product Owner or working closely with Product Owners.
• Understanding of UI/UX concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with UX resources.
• Experience working with external implementation partners or consulting firms.
• Experience establishing or supporting a PMO or Center of Excellence.
