Summary

We are seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to support a large-scale technology modernization project. This role will oversee multiple workstreams, manage project plans and roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery across both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Maintain project plans, roadmaps, and status reporting.
• Coordinate activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Track risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Facilitate project meetings and communications.
• Help establish consistent project processes and best practices.
• Support successful delivery of technology deployment initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
• Agile and Waterfall methodology experience.
• Experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Experience in stakeholder communication and relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.

Preferred

• Jira experience.
• Infrastructure or hardware deployment project experience.
• Technology modernization or transformation program experience.
• Change management experience.
• Manufacturing, operations, or plant technology environment experience.

This is a 7-month-plus Contract opportunity with potential to hire with our Minneapolis, MN client.
