JOB SUMMARY The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst reports to Senior QA Manager as part of the Solution Delivery-IT team, to develop well-defined test cases, lead and perform rigorous manual functional testing of the software to consistently deliver high-quality supply chain deliverables aligned with operational standards and business requirements. This role works closely and collaboratively with users from all At Home departments and is involved with all aspects of the corporate systems lifecycle including design, development, and support of the deployed solutions. This role focuses on identifying defects, validating workflows, monitoring performance, and supporting continuous improvement across procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Work closely with IT Management, Software developers, and business users to identify testing requirements for new systems and modifications to existing systems. Collaborate with SMEs, leadership, business stakeholders, internal and external partners, and QA team to drive strategic deliveries. Understand and encourage cross-functional collaboration and adherence to Agile values to enhance product quality and team productivity. Design and execute detailed manual test plans and test scripts to ensure applications meet business and functional requirements. Perform thorough bug fix verification and validation to ensure defects are properly resolved and conduct targeted regression testing to confirm stability across related modules and workflows. End of End validation of system integrations across supply chain ecosystems, ensuring stability and performance. Ensure data accuracy, business logic validation, and seamless integration between legacy and modern systems. Oversee defect management by documenting, prioritizing, and communicating software issues to development teams through resolution. Perform initial troubleshooting and debugging by analyzing configuration files, logs, and data to isolate defects and identify root causes. Collaborate with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Logistics teams to resolve issues, and coordinate testing strategies and schedules to support project scope, dependencies, and delivery dates. Coordinate and collaborate with external solution providers to plan, execute, and validate testing efforts across integrated systems. Partner with At Home business stakeholders to plan, lead, and conduct User Acceptance Testing, validating business requirements and securing final approval. QUALIFICATIONS Ten (10) or more years of experience designing and developing comprehensive test cases and scenarios to validate software functionality and business requirements. Five (5) or more years of experience with SQL and stored procedures in various databases (DB2/400 or SQL). Expert understanding of the impact of system enhancements on downstream processes, ensuring end-to-end validation across integrated applications and proactively identify risks introduced by enhancements. Proficient in translating business requirements into effective test scenarios, ensuring complete coverage of end-to-end workflows. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile/Scrum methodologies across the software development lifecycle. Ability to remain effective under stress and respond to pressure in fast-paced environments while ensuring high-quality delivery of testing activities. Ability to remain flexible and quickly adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on quality and timely delivery of QA activities. Retail industry experience preferred, especially related to any of the following areas: store operations, warehouse distribution, store allocation, merchandising, marketing, accounting, and finance. Knowledge of Merchandise Management Systems (JDA), Order Management Systems (OMS), Warehouse Management Systems (PKMS), SAP and Product Information Management (PIM) preferred. Deep understanding of supply chain processes such as procurement, logistics & shipping, allocation, inventory and EDI. Knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS400) operating system and applications preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking limited direction and consistently delivering high-quality testing outcomes. Proficient ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and supply chain stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
