Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. IT System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Suwanee, GA. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in IT infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, system administration, ERP support, and network operations, along with the ability to lead enterprise IT initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. IT System Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure and business systems.

• Configure, deploy, and support servers, workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other network-connected technologies.

• Monitor system performance, security, and availability while identifying opportunities for infrastructure improvements and upgrades.

• Administer and support Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, and related infrastructure platforms.

• Maintain and support Deltek Costpoint ERP environments, including upgrades, patches, maintenance releases, and system troubleshooting activities.

• Lead and support IT projects, infrastructure enhancements, cybersecurity initiatives, ERP system improvements, and continuous process optimization efforts.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5+ years of progressively responsible IT experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience with: Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Network Administration, Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure Management

• Experience supporting: LAN/WAN Networks, Server Environments, End User Computing, Voice & Video Technologies, Cybersecurity Operations

• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems, and infrastructure platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure and/or AWS Cloud Platforms & ServiceNow.

• Experience utilizing AI tools to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

• Experience supporting ERP/MRP systems, particularly within manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including: Database Administration, SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Backup & Recovery, Data Analysis & Reporting

• Experience supporting Deltek Costpoint ERP or other project-based ERP solutions.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
